Andrés is an entrepreneur and visionary with more than two decades of leadership in the fintech sector in Latin America. As co-founder and CEO of Puntored, he has played a key role in the financial inclusion revolution, impacting more than 18 million people monthly. Andrés holds an MBA from Bayes Business School and executive education from Stanford and LSE. He is co-founder and former president of the Colombia Fintech Association, where he played a key role in regulating this sector. He has been an Endeavor Entrepreneur and Advocate since 2012, winning their “Expert in Economic Transformation” award in 2022. He was recognized as the Best Social Entrepreneur in Latin America by New Ventures and the Swiss Cooperation Center in 2015, and named one of the “75 leaders transforming Colombia” by El Pais América newspaper in 2023.
