Lizette Neme Bechara

Lizette Neme holds a law degree from Escuela Libre de Derecho and a master's degree in international financial law from King's College London. She founded the law firm Áurea Partners (formerly InStrag Law), where she is in charge of financial regulation and FinTech, providing legal advice to participants in the financial ecosystem. Previously, she held various positions at the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit. Starting in 2016, she was in charge of drafting and designing the FinTech Law in the Banking, Securities, and Savings Unit. Additionally, she served as Legal Director of Investment Banking in the Public Credit Unit, where she participated in the structuring and negotiation of financing for government infrastructure projects. She was also Advisor Coordinator and Legal Advisor to the Undersecretary of Revenue, where she was involved in reviewing tax policy issues.
